Leadership Mentoring
To ensure the most effective coaching experience, it is imperative that your reactive characteristics be identified. If you are not willing to address your personal structure, any coaching input will be limited by that unawareness. My requirements are that you simply bring an openness and vulnerability to the engagement in order to address your own personal maturity. This will help you begin to move from reactive behaviors into the creative arena. I highlight this in my book Awakened Leadership.
Who is this for?
Leadership is an activity of performance. How a leader shows up on the field is often called the ‘gut feel’ of executive presence. Mentoring is for the executive who has mastered the playbook and now needs to understand how to show up on the field.
Subject Areas
- Behavioral Awareness: Learning about your own reactive or unconscious behaviors.
- Trigger Assessment: Harnessing those potential negative triggers that develop your leadership style without your permission.
- On-the-field Development: Developing the skills to understanding those barriers
Ghost Coaching and Shadow Work
In the corporate world, one of the toughest challenges is the entry of a highly qualified new leader into the C-Level executive role. Unfortunately, many leadership coaches simply don’t have the background, experience, or management tools to assist in the “nuts and bolts” execution of this type of entry. As a Developmental Leadership coach, I assist the bright new executive leaders who wish to take on the highest roles in today’s corporate structure.
This platform is what I call “ghost coaching” and “shadow work.” Simply put, I’ll mentor you for an extended period of time, watching for strengths and weaknesses as you transition and expand into your new role. Many times, in addition to the obvious “the buck stops here” mentality that all new executives must learn, I also bring a seasoned understanding to information and process flow, organizational structure and the gritty detail of the job itself.
If your company would like to deliver the highest possibility that your new executives will be successful, then the value proposition of utilizing an already seasoned executive cannot be understated.
